While normals for this time of year is a high around 11 and an overnight low of 0, much of Saskatchewan won’t make that benchmark for the next couple days but weather will become more seasonal as the week carries on.
Rainfall warnings have ended in the province and the snowfall warnings have shrunk to a cover a region of the northeast including Cumberland House where heavy snowfall continues this morning, with total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm. The highest amounts will be near the Manitoba border and snow will end by this afternoon.
The Highway Hotline is showing highways around Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin as snow covered while highways south including Saskatoon to Davidson, highways around Humboldt and Watrous, as well as south and east of Outlook and Elbow are reporting partly covered in snow or ice.
