The flags at City of Saskatoon facilities will be flown at half-mast today in honour of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day.

The day is observed annually on the last Sunday in September, honouring the dedication, service and sacrifice of officers who work to keep Canadians safe.

Flags are lowered to pay tribute to officers killed in the line of duty. Memorial services will also be held in communities across the country.
