A male youth was arrested by RCMP officers without incident in Rocanville.  Police say no charges have been laid at this time and investigators do not believe there is any further risk to public safety associated with this incident at this time.

Moosomin and Broadview RCMP are directing the public to not approach a man believed involved in a stolen vehicle investigation.

Around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Rocanville area. The stolen vehicle ended up in the ditch near Highway #719 and rural road 1321.

While police are seeking the suspect believed involved in the incident, they say do not approach and report all sightings to police immediately, as well, lock vehicle doors and houses. As of 11:30 a.m. police are searching for the male north of Highway #601, northwest of Rocanville.

The suspect is described as an adult male is wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, is 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall and is believed to be on foot in this area near Rocanville.
