The compost drop-off and pick-up pilot launches Monday at Saskatoon’s Material Recovery Centre. This is the residential dig-your-own compost pick-up at the MRC.
The initiative is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve access to compost and streamline organics processing.
The pilot will run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Sort & Go at the MRC from September 22 to November 8.
Residents participating in the pilot will be required to bring their own shovel to load compost into their containers or vehicles.
Bulk compost sales are only available at the Compost Depot.
