The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to reports of multiple vehicle fires yesterday evening in the 600 and 700 blocks of Avenue J South.

The call came in at 7:21 p.m., and upon arrival, firefighters found two vehicles ablaze about a block apart. Hose lines were quickly deployed to extinguish the first fire, while an additional apparatus was dispatched to tackle the second.

Both fires were brought under control without injury to civilians or firefighters, and the scene was subsequently turned over to police for further investigation.
