The Saskatoon Police Service says two people have been arrested and several firearms were seized during a Guns & Gangs investigation.

Wednesday around 10 p.m. a search warrant was executed at a home in the 600 block of Kingsmere Boulevard where two people were taken into custody. A 33-year-old man is facing a combined total of eight drug possession and firearms charges. A 37-year-old woman is facing one drug possession charge.

Police seized 1.54 grams of methamphetamine, 34.85 grams of cocaine, two prohibited shotguns and ammunition, and two pellet guns.
