Death investigation in Prince Albert

The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit is investigating its second death in a week.

Thursday around 8:50 a.m. police were called to the 500 block of 39th Street West where someone had potentially located a deceased person.

Both Prince Albert Police and RCMP Forensic Identification Section attended the scene as well as the Saskatchewan Coroners Service after a deceased male was located. An autopsy is scheduled for after the long weekend on Tuesday.

The Prince Albert Police Service is also investigating the city’s third homicide of 2025 after 39-year-old Wayne Keller was found dead in the 1500 block of 5th Avenue East on Tuesday afternoon. Anyone with information in relation to the investigation or anyone who had recent contact with Wayne Keller to contact Prince Albert Police, or Crime Stoppers.
