A 22-year-old woman has lost her life following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Wednesday.

At 10:40 p.m., Big River RCMP responded to the call on Big River First Nation. Local EMS, STARS, and Big River First Nation Community Safety Officers responded, as well. The woman was declared dead on scene

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.

Big River RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
