The post-secondary institution in central Alberta has a variety of crops and livestock based education programs.

About 10 per cent of enrolled students are from Saskatchewan, which is one reason why Olds College has a recruitment booth at Canadian Western Agribition. Potential students can learn more about the newly renovated and open Animal Health Centre and research being conducted on the Smart Farm
