Both teen girls in North Battleford now FOUND

Update: Shyla Tootoosis has also been located and is safe.

Battlefords RCMP says one of the two missing 16-year-old North Battleford girls has been located safe while the other remains missing.

Shanice Chamakese and Shyla Tootoosis were last seen on Saturday at 10:15 p.m. on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford. Shanice has since been found.

Shyla is 5’5″ tall and 130 pounds with brown eyes and medium-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and a brown ribbon skirt.

Investigators have reason to believe that Shanice and Shyla may be together, and may be in the Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation area.
