UPDATE:  Forty-one-year-old Matthew Thomas Scoville has been located and arrested.

The Saskatoon Police Service are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in an ongoing aggravated assault and sexual assault investigation.

Police were called out early Friday morning to the 200 block of Coppermine Crescent and now there is a significant police presence in Saskatoon’s north and west neighbourhoods.

Police are actively searching for 41-year-old Matthew Thomas Scoville who is described as being of Southeast Asian descent, bald, approximately 5’9″ and 167lbs, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid jacket, black shoes, and dark grey sweatpants.

The Saskatoon Police Service says members of the public should not approach Scoville.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Matthew Thomas Scoville, or with information otherwise believed to be relevant is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1.
