The Saskatoon Ex is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2025 and plans to mark the occasion with some significant changes. They say that for the first time in decades, the festival will return to an eight-day format. The 2025 Saskatoon EX will take place from Thursday, July 31, to Thursday, August 7.
Prairieland has also inked a five year deal with North American Midway Entertainment which in addition to more days to enjoy the Ex, will mean a 33 per cent increase in ridership capacity. They say it will mean fair goers will be able to go on more rides with shorter line ups. They also hint at improvements to the park and the development of a master plan for the property.
Signature Events Manager Susan Kuzma says the extended time frame for the EX will mean new exhibitors and food concessionaires. Fair goers can also expect that the upgraded security protocols in recent years will be further enhanced to ensure a family friendly experience.
