Wednesday Loon Lake RCMP located and arrested Isaiah Alexander on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. Isaiah Alexander was wanted by Loon Lake RCMP for charges including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

He appeared in Loon Lake Provincial Court Thursday. A warrant had been issued for his arrest after Loon Lake RCMP received a report of a serious assault outside a business in Loon Lake shortly before 1:30 p.m. last Thursday (July 18) afternoon.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with serious injuries. Their investigation determined the suspect assaulted the victim with an edged weapon and then fled.
