Highway 7 near Kindersley is the scene of several intersection improvement projects which, when complete, will enhance driver and pedestrian safety.
Two intersections on Highway 7, at Highway 21 and at Ditson Drive, are receiving road widening, repaving, concrete work, street light alterations, and traffic sign alterations. Pedestrian buttons will also be installed to the existing traffic lights.
On-site construction of the $6.5 million project began in May and is scheduled to be completed in October.
Funding for these projects is through the province’s $17.6 million Safety Improvements Program.
