As the weather warms up, the City of Saskatoon is reminding the public of the rules of the dog park.

Owners are asked to bring a leash and use it when entering and exiting the park. All pets must have a valid pet license, and pets must be in sight and under control at all times.

In addition, waste must be picked up and dropped in available disposal containers.

Several upgrades have been made to the Silverwood Dog Park, including new pathway signs and markings. Markings down the middle of the path aim to separate traffic flow, as the asphalt pathway is shared by pedestrians, cyclists, dogs and their owners.
