A 30-year-old La Ronge man is facing charges following three search warrants executed by the Saskatchewan RCMP’s La Ronge Crime Reduction Team.

On March 16th, officers at the residence seized about 110,000 illegal cigarettes, one kilogram of morphine powder, eight firearms including a semi-automatic model, magazines for the semi-automatic firearm, ammunition and trafficking paraphernalia.

As a result of continued investigation, Kaylen Charles is facing 17 charges and is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 24th.
