The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating after a woman was stabbed Thursday morning.  Officers responded about 5:30 a.m. to the 200 block of Avenue B North and found a 38-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening stab wound. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The Serious Assault Unit, aided by the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol, then executed a warrant in the 400 block of Idylwyld Drive North. A news release from the Police Service says several people were removed from the home and the investigation is ongoing. Charges are expected in relation to this investigation.
