Prince Albert Police arrested not only a second suspect who was being sought after four staff members at a business were assaulted, but they identified and arrested a third suspect as well.
Prince Albert Police were called out to an assault in progress on April 21st and at 1:07 a.m. that Sunday morning, when officers responded to a business in the 35-hundred block of 2nd Avenue West, they discovered four staff members who had been assaulted. Two victims were treated at the scene while the other two were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries considered serious but not life threatening.
Police investigation indicates a group of people were denied entry to the business and staff tried to escort them outside at which time the staff were assaulted.
Police identified and charged a 28-year-old man and a 50-year-old man with four counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The 28-year-old was arrested fairly soon after and a warrant was issued for the 50-year-old.
That suspect was tracked down and in court on Wednesday facing four counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. Prince Albert Police also identified a third suspect who was arrested Friday. The 27-year-old man is in court today charged with two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
