It was another warmer month than normal with northern areas of the province recording the largest temperature differentials.

There were a few notable precipitation events in April. A mid-month rain turned into snow for a few spots in the northern grainbelt. The Moose Jaw area also recorded 30 millimetres on the final day of the month.
