Prince Albert Police were called out to an assault in progress on April 21st and have since identified and charged two suspects.
At 1:07 a.m. that Sunday morning officers responded to a business in the 35-hundred block of 2nd Avenue West where four staff members had been assaulted and the suspects had fled. Parkland Ambulance treated two victims at the scene while the other two were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that were serious but not life threatening.
Police investigation indicates a group of people were denied entry to the business and staff tried to escort them outside at which time the staff were assaulted.
Police have identified and charged a 28-year-old man and a 50-year-old man with four counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The 28-year-old has been arrested and will make his first court appearance on April 30 at Prince Albert Provincial Court. A warrant for arrest has been issued for the 50-year-old.
