A second suspect charged in a homicide in southeast Saskatchewan is in Regina Provincial Court Monday (April 29).
Twenty-four-year-old Taylor Japp from Oxbow is charged with 2nd-degree murder. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Brianna Hayes from Oxbow.
RCMP had received a report of a potential homicide on April 24th. They began a search of the Oxbow landfill but did not find human remains. Brianna Hayes’s body was found around noon on Thursday in a rural location.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate and ask anyone with information about Brianna’s death, or who interacted with her from April 22 to 24, to report it by calling RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
