A 27-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges of robbery, assault, and mischief over $5000 following a disturbance yesterday morning.
At 7:00 a.m., police were called to a commercial building in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue South for a report of a man who had entered the building and was acting erratically.
The man assaulted a security guard in two separate areas as he walked around the building while stealing the property of multiple employees. The suspect then fled the scene with some of the stolen property prior to police arrival.
He was located and arrested near 21st Street East and 1st Avenue South a short time later, and officers located the remainder of the stolen property upon search of his person.
