An early Saturday morning incident at a residence on the Ochapowace First Nation resulted in a deceased male and the arrest of another.
A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says members of the Broadview detachment were called at about 6:45 a.m. on April 20 to assist EMS with an injured male, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 32-year-old Elias Still of the Ochapowace First Nation.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took on the investigation of the death, which was believed to be suspicious, and led to the arrest of 32-year-old Dustyn Allary of the Ochapowace First Nation at the scene. He was charged with second degree murder and appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday.
