From now until June 30th, portions of the Saskatchewan population can access an additional COVID-19 vaccine. This is for the XBB.1.5 and it is for adults 65 years of age and older, adults 18 to 64 years old who live in long-term care facilities, personal care homes, and congregate living settings. This also includes those 65 and older.
Children six months of age and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised due to immunosuppressive therapy or due to medical conditions are also eligible.
The vaccine can be administered if it has been six months from their last similar dose or six months since a COVID-19 infection. Click here for more information on vaccine eligibility and where it is available.
