Two Saskatoon men were taken to hospital after reporting similar encounters with a man wielding a machete.

On Friday at 7:10pm, police were responding to weapons call in the 1300 block of 20th Street West when they learned of a victim in the 200 block of Avenue O South.

A 30-year-old man was found and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

at a different locating in the same block, a 35-year-old man was located and taken to hospital with injuries of the same extent.

The suspect was reported to be wearing a black sweater and jeans.
