A 41-year-old man is facing ten charges after fleeing from the RCMP on a quad.
At 10:30 a.m. on April 10th, Dillon RCMP was patrolling on Buffalo River Dene Nation. Officers spotted Anthony Kiezie, a man who is known to be on multiple warrants for offences including trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and flight from peace officer.
Upon seeing police, the male drove quickly away before becoming stuck down a trail. He then fled on foot.
Officers looked for the man, and about an hour later, found him hiding behind a tree.
He was arrested and officers seized two bags containing a large sum of cash, 123 grams of cocaine and trafficking paraphernalia.
Kiezie appeared in court in Canoe Lake on Thursday.
