A 35-year-old woman is facing four charges after White Butte RCMP received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from a residence.
RCMP responded at 8:40 a.m. March 30th and began working to locate the vehicle. Nearby detachments were alerted.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP located the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop on Range Road 2144 near Edgeley. The suspect vehicle fled, nearly striking a police vehicle and the officer standing on the road beside it, heading towards Highway #10.
A spike belt was set up and the suspect vehicle ran over it on Township Road 200. Its tires were flattened, and the vehicle came to a stop. Jessica Pangman was arrested at the scene.
She appeared in Regina Provincial Court on April 1.
