Alberta-based UFA Co-operative Ltd. has announced that it will be sponsoring a business start-up initiative out of the University of Saskatchewan.
Established just last year, Opus is a startup incubator that provides new entrepreneurs with the tools needed to build successful ventures on the USask campus.
The collaboration will provide UFA access to key innovators in Saskatchewan, as well as a pipeline to regional startups.
The partnership will also allow the university to accelerate their research, scholarly and artistic works. Through Opus, USask expects to propel their research and innovation to the fields, producers, and the rural customers of the Prairies.
