Usually during the final week of February, Saskatchewan Crop Insurance announces details of that year’s new programs and the insured prices for each crop.
Saskatchewan Agriculture Ag Minister David Marit will be having that news conference at the SCIC head office in Melville next Tuesday, March 5th. However, SaskAgToday.com chief agricultural editor Kevin Hursh is reporting that the 2024 Crop Insurance prices are posted on-line if you are a producer set up with CropConnect access to your account. In past years, that information was not released until after the official announcement.
