Reduced visibility and fog are being reported in numerous areas across the province by Highway Hotline this morning.
Affected regions include Saskatoon, Kenaston, Eston, Southey, Findlater, Lumsden, Regina and Milestone.
Later today and carrying into tomorrow, Saskatchewan is expected to see some intense winter weather come its way, such as 10 to 20 centimetres of snow, gusting winds, and plummeting temperatures.
Environment Canada has issued several snowfall and winter storm warnings across the province, as well as a special weather statement for central and southern Saskatchewan. They say an intense, fast moving Alberta clipper system is forecast to develop tonight and will head east across the province through Monday and then further east into Manitoba.
Environment Canada says the temperatures will plummet once the clipper passes by, and Monday night’s low in both Saskatoon and Prince Albert is -25.
