Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) arrested Nolan Bird in Saskatoon on Saturday.
He will be in court Monday charged with one count of manslaughter.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest last month and the public was being asked to report sightings of Bird who was wanted in connection with the death of 61-year-old David Lapointe. Lapointe’s body was found inside a home on the 1600 block of 102nd Street in North Battleford in late October.
