A man has now been charged for causing serious injury as a result of a vehicle/pedestrian collision early yesterday (Thurs) morning in Prince Albert.
Just after 2:00am, Prince Albert Police Service responded to a parking lot in the 600 block of 32nd Street East for the report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Police say they located a 21-year-old male pedestrian, who was transported to Victoria Hospital where he remains. Officers say the suspects involved in hitting the man had fled the scene.
Now, police have charged 19-year-old Bryson McCallum with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and failing to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in bodily harm. Police can confirm that this was not a random incident. He made his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court this (Friday) morning.
