A 26-year-old Regina woman is facing charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, among others.
On Friday, at 11:35 pm, police were called to the 1200 block of McTavish Street for a suspicious vehicle report. Officers say the vehicle had driven away before they arrived.
With help from the Aerial Support Unit, the vehicle was located. Police say they attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver evaded police. ASU continued to keep an eye on the vehicle until it stopped in the 3500 block of 14th Avenue.
ASU had seen the driver and a passenger exit the vehicle and run to a house in the area. The female driver, Crystal Fox, was arrested without incident. She also faces charges of flight from a police officer and operating a Conveyance Dangerous to Public.
