As other large cities in Canada and across the world have been experiencing rallies and protests related to the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Saskatoon Police Service says they are not aware of any hate-motivated crimes going on.
The SPS says it is aware of and monitoring the events unfolding abroad and possible impacts within Canada as a result. They remind the public to report crimes in which hate may be a motivating factor.
The Regina Police Service said they have increased police presence near places of worship and are engaged in an ongoing dialogue with community partners and faith communities.
