The Prince Albert Police are investigating the fourth homicide of 2023 in that city.

On Friday at 5:15 Pm, police say they responded to a weapons complaint at a home in the 300 Block of 13th Street East.

Officers say the located a seriously injured 27-year-old woman. She was transported to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance where she later succumbed to her injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. A second victim, a 31-year-old-women, was driven to the hospital as well by an acquaintance. She had serious injuries as well, but she is in the hospital in stable condition.

The investigation continues, and anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Prince Albert Police or Crime Stoppers.
