Man turns himself in after Prince Albert’s third homicide of 2023

A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged with committing Prince Albert third homicide of this year.

Friday at 7:15 am, Prince Albert Police Service responded to a complaint of a deceased man in a multi-dwelling residence in the 100 Block of 11th Street West.

On arrival, a 37-year-old man was confirmed to be dead. A 29-year-old man turned himself in and has been arrested for second-degree murder in connection with the incident.

A 47-year-old female was also arrested, but she has since been released. The police say they do not anticipate further arrests. The man will make his first court appearance in the Provincial Court on October 10, and the investigation continues.
