Provincial rivals went head-to-head in the rain for the last time, in the regular season. The Hilltops defeated the Thunder 19-10, with thanks to not only a strong and sturdy defense and dominant special teams, but star running back Boston Davidson having another phenomenal night were he surpassed 1,000 rushing yards in a season for the second time in his career with the Toppers.

The first half was a tight football game with the only touchdown being scored late in the second quarter thanks to a 1-yard run from Rylan Leichert to get Regina on the board for the first time in the game, but still being down 8-7 to the Hilltops. 6 of the Hilltops 8 points in the first half came off field goals from Teijon Able-Douglas, and the other 2 points coming off a Thunder safety.
The Toppers would pick up a punt single early in the third followed by another field goal from Able-Douglas extending the toppers lead to 12-7. Regina would respond with a field goal of their own early in the fourth, and would begin to apply some pressure by marching the ball down the field, but the Toppers defense came in clutch forcing and intercepting the ball 3 times. They would score two field goals of three of the turnovers extending the lead 19-10, where the score would stay and the Hilltops not only remain undefeated on the season, but clinch first-place in the Prairie Football Conference.
