Human remains found near Meadow Lake

Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains southeast of Meadow Lake. At 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, RCMP responded to a report of a fire at a residence 45 kilometers southeast of Meadow Lake. Officers say the fire was already extinguished when they arrived.

Investigators are working with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service to determine the identity of the person. No other information is available at this time.
