A Leger poll released today (Fri) suggests nearly half of Canadians are living paycheck to paycheck, at 47 per cent. From Canadians currently employed who were polled, 38 per cent are concerned about losing their job in the next year, and that rises to 47 per cent for 18 to 34 year olds.
The Leger poll also states that the popularity of the Conservative party is increasing with 38 per cent support among decided voters, followed by the governing Liberals with 29 per cent. Fifty-nine per cent of Canadians say they are dissatisfied with the government and of that, 35 per cent say they are very dissatisfied.
