Child dies in pedestrian-vehicle collision

A 6-year-old girl has died after being struck by a truck in Dillon. On Saturday at 7:30pm Dillon RCMP received a report of an injured pedestrian in Dillon.

Through investigation, officers determined that a vehicle struck a child. The girl was later pronounced dead at the local clinic. Her family has been notified and victim services have been made available to them.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and no charges have been laid. Dillon RCMP continues to investigate.
