The Rotary Adventure Park at Prince Albert’s Little Red River Park is complete after years in the making.
The playground features nine play zones, each featuring a different activity to make sure everyone from toddlers to elders can take part.
The zones include an adult Ninja Warrior course, a Passive Tot area, four 100-foot zip lines, and Hurricane Mega Towers. The playground was designed to allow over 300 children to use it at once.
The project was made possible through contributions and donations from the Rotary Club, the Malcom Jenkins Family Foundation, and the City of Prince Albert.
Other infrastructure improvements at Little Red include 126 extra parking spaces. Plans are in the works for year-round washrooms, a warm-up shelter and a camp kitchen.
