A sketch has been released of the armed man who threatened the occupants of a parked car near Pierceland.
On Wednesday just before noon, Pierceland RCMP received a report of an armed man on Highway #55. Police say a driver stopped their vehicle on the side of said highway, when a man hauling bales got out of a green tractor, came up to their vehicle and threatened them with a firearm. The victim got back into their car, drove to safety and called the police. Police say no physical injuries were reported.
The man in question is described as older, with a heavy build and balding white hair. Police say he was wearing a black cowboy hat, a blue plaid shirt, brown suspenders, black boots and wire-framed glasses. The sketch is with this story online. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information on who the suspect may be is asked to contact the Pierceland RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
