Both individuals believed to be involved with the death of aPelican Lake First Nation man have now been arrested.
On July 15th, 38-year-old Teddy Whitehead was a victim of a homicide. Spiritwood RCMP and EMS responded to a report of an assault at a home on Witchekan Lake First Nation, and he was declared dead on the scene. His death was considered to be suspicious. Through investigation, two men were charged with manslaughter. Thirty-five-year-old Chase Cardinal was arrested on Wednesday in Spiritwood, and 32-year-old Nathaniel Sakebow from old from Witchekan Lake First Nation was found in Saskatoon Thursday. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is now asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicle involved with the crime. The public is asked to report sightings of a white 2007 GMC Envoy midsize SUV with Saskatchewan License Plate 342 MUN.
