The Saskatchewan NDP has chosen a candidate for Moose Jaw Wakamow to run in the next provincial election.

Melissa Patterson was nominated by NDP members earlier Saturday afternoon.

Patterson is a lifelong Moose Jaw resident, and mother of three children. She has worked as a table games dealer, supervisor, and trainer at Casino Moose Jaw nearly 20 years, and she serves as treasurer of her union local and previously as the chief shop steward for the casino.

The next nomination will be in Regina Pasqua on Saturday, July 29th, 2023.
