There are several air quality advisories in Saskatchewan after yesterday having been none. They affect the northwestern areas of La Loche, Buffalow Narrows, and Ile a La Crosse, and the smoke travels south towards Lac la Ronge, Montreal Lake, and Prince Albert National Park. There are now 29 wildfires actively burning in the province, up one from yesterday. Four are contained, fourteen are under ongoing assessment, 8 are where the focus is to protect property, and three are not contained. There have been 287 wildfires to date in the province.

Meanwhile in British Columbia, numerous evacuation orders and alerts have been issued, as the province suffered from 246 active wildfires. The Finger Lake and Tsah Creek wildfires are threatening the Regional District of Bulkly-Nechako, and residents were instructed to leave immediately.  Cariboo Regional District officials have issued evacuation alerts in the Townsend Creek and Branch Road area, where two additional fires are burning out-of-control.
