A sketch has been released of the man who, police say, attempted an abduction on Tuesday in North Battleford.
The Battlefords RCMP are investigating a report of an attempted abduction that happened on 110th Street in North Battleford. Investigators have collected security footage from the area, and a Saskatchewan RCMP sketch artist has completed a drawing of the male suspect based on the footage.
Police say a teenage girl was walking down 110th Street near St. Laurent Drive between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. when a man in an SUV called out and asked her if she wanted money. The girl kept walking and about three blocks later the man in the SUV reportedly tried to grab her. She ran for help and the SUV drove away.
RCMP say if the vehicle is seen don’t approach and report it immediately. And if you have any information on this incident please contact the North Battleford Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
