After a break along the primary water main on last Monday, June 12th, homes and businesses west of Circle Drive and south of Airport Drive will continue to experience lower than normal water pressure.
Additional breaks are delaying the process of restoring the water pressure by at least a week, possibly more. The pressure remains just below normal, but it may be noticeable when using sprinklers and appliances. The City of Saskatoon says water remains safe to drink in most areas, however Drinking Water Advisories are in place for affected properties. Yellow Drinking Water Advisory door hangers will be placed on homes and businesses that are affected by other breaks, as well.
The City says crews need several more days to complete all repairs, flush pipes, and complete testing before water pressure can be fully restored.
