A Saskatoon man has been charged with multiple sexual assault and child pornography offences after an investigation Conducted by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Interpersonal Violence Section and Technical Crime Unit.
On May 25th, the Saskatoon Police received a report of sexual abuse occurring between August of 2022 and February of 2023, the victim being a 9-year-old girl. The accused is a 34-year-old man, and he is known to the victim. Continued investigation on June 8th led to the execution of two search warrants at an address in the 3300 block of John A. MacDonald Road and 3300 block of Centennial Drive. Several electronic devices were seized, and as a result, the man, who is unnamed, faces several charges such as sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, making child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
