Moose Jaw Police believe Fentanyl is involved with the sudden deaths of three people reported to them in the last Friday and Saturday in the southern Saskatchewan city.
Officers say there is a possibility of a tainted drug and wish to remind the public to learn the signs of an opioid overdose. They include difficulties walking or talking, pinpoint pupils, choking, blue lips or nails, and dizziness and confusion.
Moose Jaw Police also reminds the public that the Good Samaritan Overdose Act protects anyone experiencing an overdose from charges of possession of a controlled substance, so don’t hesitate to call 911. That’s also true for anyone present while someone else is experiencing an overdose.
