Commercial art galleries across the province are opening their doors Saturday to celebrate the third annual Saskatchewan Art Gallery Day.
Sixteen galleries are participating in an art walk across the province. There is a map and list of galleries available through the Sask Galleries website. The Executive Director for SaskGalleries, Kristin Wagman says there will be special events and exhibitions across the province.

More than 850 professional artists have their work in Saskatchewan’s commercial art galleries. Wagman stresses that the day isn’t just for seasoned art collectors. There is art in a variety of mediums and price points – everything from textiles to jewelry to sculpture and wall art.
